Be aware when looking at the report below that many of the state senators who show up as "winners" nevertheless were supportive of rural schoolchildren and indeed did not vote in favor of LB 806. The fact remains however that many did vote for LB 806 and thus helped their own children while clearly harming the educational availabilities for rural and/or poor youngsters.
